About the Orthodontist

Dr Lee Alexandria Orthodontics | About the Orthodontist Dr. Jim Lee, D.D.S., M.P.H., M.S. Board Certified Orthodontist Dr. Lee was born and raised in the Carolinas before moving to Charlottesville, VA for high school.   As a freshman in college at George Washington University in DC, he began teaching in DC public schools, grades K-12, and started 5 educational programs for children and young adults.Continuing his teaching career the year after college, he moved to Boston to pursue a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in adolescent health and social/behavioral sciences.  Shortly after receiving his Masters, he began his dental education at the University of Maryland dental school, graduating with top honors, including initiation into dentistry’s most prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.  He then received his orthodontic specialty training at the Ohio State University where he attained a Masters in Science and a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, watching football, building computers, and working out.
