Early Intervention /Interceptive therapy

Early Intervention treatment, which is also referred to as interceptive therapy or Phase I orthodontic treatment is when early treatment is recommended due to an urgent issue which should be addressed sooner than later.

Urgent issues may include:

  • Bite issues
  • Habits
  • Growth Asymmetry
  • Pain
  • Crowding
  • Grinding

The American Association of Orthodontics recommends an Orthodontic screening starting at age 7. However, if recommended, patients younger can be seen.  Contact us to reserve an appointment today.
